How does the export process work?

ANIMAL SELECTION AND IDENTIFICATION


A thorough evaluation is carried out, in accordance with the importer's technical requirements, which consists of selecting and identifying the animals to be exported.

PRE-ISOLATION EXAMS


The selected animals undergo a series of tests to identify those that are not suitable. The approved animals are transported to the quarantine station.

QUARANTINE


Inspection and supervision are carried out by MAPA (Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply) through examinations to verify compliance with the international sanitary protocol established by the importing country, particularly in the selection and identification of animals to be exported.

Formalization and Legal Procedures


The animals adapt to the travel conditions while awaiting international health documentation and the export process.

SHIPPING AND LOGISTICS


Transportation involves some special precautions, whether by air, sea, or land. At this stage, in addition to contracting transportation, insurance for the animals is obtained, if this is a condition of sale negotiated with the importer.

DISEMBARKATION AND AFTER-SALES SERVICE


We monitor the entire export process until unloading. After that, the after-sales work begins, including monitoring the animals' progress in their new environment.

Quarantine

Each country sets its sanitary requirements according to official negotiations conducted with the MAPA (Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply).


The quarantine period varies according to the protocol. During this time, the animals are treated for endoparasites and ectoparasites, tested for the diseases required by the protocol, and adapted to travel food (if it is by sea). All this is to ensure the well-being of the animals during boarding.


At the end of the isolation period, MAPA (Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply) issues an official document confirming and internationally validating the veracity of the entire process.
